*Any product I’ve recommended under “Shop My Favorites” is something I have used myself for a lengthy period of time and highly recommend to others. I would never promote a product that I don’t love myself. I have tried MANY other health products other than the items I’ve posted here. These are just my tried and true favorites that work well for me and may work well for you if you’re in the market for them. Disclosure: This article may contain affiliate links. Ultimate Flora 30 Billion Probiotics –

I was recommended these probiotics by a friend and I am SO glad I took her up on it. My stomach is far from a happy camper most days. I have to eat a low-Fodmap diet (look it up if you’re confused, it would take a day and a half to explain ;)) every day, but some days I have a slip up because Fodmaps are in everything it seems. But, now that I’m taking these probiotics, my gut issues have been 1,000 times better! I have way less flare ups, and when I do they aren’t nearly as bad as they used to be. These probiotics have truly been a life saver for me. I added two links because the first is for one bottle, regularly priced, if you want to try them for the first time and get a feel for how your body responds to them. The second link is for two bottles, for a discount compared to one bottle alone. Because I take these every day, I always buy the two bottle deal off Amazon.

Quantum Health Immune Support Elderberry Echinacea Vitamin C 30 Capsules (Pack of 3) –

I’m a teacher. And I nanny a 10 month old baby. Germs are my middle name. When I started teaching my first year, I was sick for 3 months straight. I wish I was kidding. I didn’t have a voice for 4 of those weeks, but didn’t have a choice to stop teaching. I also got hand foot and mouth disease, and it looked worse than what you’ll find on Google Images. After my immune system had been through the ringer, back, and through again, I decided my poor body needed some help. I did my research and found that elderberry is especially effective for supporting your immune system. Many teachers, I found, use elderberry to fight off the colds and flus forever going around their classrooms. I decided it was worth a shot… and it was well worth my money! After I started taking these immune support pills, I got sick only once every three months instead of for three months straight. I also noticed my colds only stuck around for a few days before I was back to feeling good. Maybe it was my immune system getting stronger, but I think these immune boosters deserve some credit since I started getting better and warding off colds right after I started taking them. If you also get sick easily or work around germ-y kids, these are worth a try!
