“Do Anywhere” HIIT Workout

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is my favorite way to train because it’s quick, effective, and gives your body a calorie burning boost all throughout the day. I love trying all different types of HIIT workouts, but some require equipment such as dumbbells, kettle bells, boxes, sliders, resistance bands, etc. This HIIT workout requires no equipment at all and can be done virtually anywhere. This is the perfect workout for these beautiful sunny days when you want to get an effective workout in but don’t want to be stuck inside a gym. It’s designed to take about 15 minutes but can be accomplished in more or less time depending on your fitness level. For this workout, I chose simple, commonly known exercises but it doesn’t mean the workout will be easy.

By pushing yourself as hard as you can for the next 15 minutes, you will burn fat, get the endorphins going, and continue to burn calories throughout the rest of your day. See why there’s much to love with a good HIIT workout? Who wouldn’t rather do a 15 minute HIIT workout and burn just as many calories as running 30 minutes at a slow steady rate. There will be 3 sets of all out effort, with three 30 seconds breaks in between. This will assist you in giving your maximum effort while getting a break long enough to recover before giving it your all again.

45 ab bicycles

40 mountain climbers

35 high knees

30 Scissor Kicks

30 second break

25 sit ups

20 Lunges (10 each leg)

15 Jump Squats

10 push ups

5 Burpees

30 second break

5 Burpees

10 push ups

15 Jump Squats

20 Lunges (10 each leg)

25 sit ups

30 second break

30 Scissor Kicks

35 high knees

40 mountain climbers

45 ab bicycles

50 jumping jacks
